Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer and MMAJunkie.com are reporting that UFC 89 will be available for free on Spike TV via tape delay.The UFC has taped delayed shows from England twice before for UFC 70 and UFC 75. It is probable that UFC 89 will use that same format as in those past shows. They are also reporting that the UFC will hold a pay-per-view event the following weekend and the Spike TV broadcast of UFC 89 be a promotional vehicle for the PPV event.

This is gonna be a solid matchup...not quite the same amount of juice as the Lesnar fight will be in November, but it'll make for a great battle nonetheless! Sending out my thanks to Spike TV, despite not being their target audience :)
