Elite XC not that stupid

So it turns out that Sean Gannon won't bne fighting Kimbo on October 4th, which is awesome because that would have been a death blow to the promotion. However, there is a rumor that Kimbo may be fighting Ken Shamrock, which would be less terrible, but still not acceptable in my opinion. The only fight that makes sense at this point if Bret Rogers. Yes, Bret is more experienced, but so is just about any decent fighter at this point. Kimbo has over a year of training under his belt with Bas Rutten, so I have to imagine that he is much improved and he had a tough bout last match so I don't think he'll risk anything in his preparation for this fight.
